I ordered these around four months ago

when unpackaging i noticed that they sent me two pairs of headphones rather than just one pair! That was a pleasant surprise but im also assuming a mistake. When first playing them i noticed that they fit quite well inside the ear rather than around or outside, the noise cancelation was fine for the price and they got quite loud without sounding terrible at all. the sound was actually quite remarkable to my experience.

I bought a pair of Vmoda Remix earbuds to replace my Apple earbuds. I'm not a audiophile so I decided to try to find a good replacement for the Apple earbuds that wasn't too cheap yet very expensive. I read the good reviews of these earbuds and decided to try a pair. The audio quality is good, probably a little better than Apple's earbuds. I can't compare them to other manufacturers since Apple and V-Moda are the only two I've tried. They fit in my ears well and the rubber edge ring helps them from coming out. They stay on my ears when I go for a walk. I don't know how they will work while running. What I don't like about them is their weight. They are heavier than Apples earbuds and this causes them to be a little uncomfortable for me after a few hours. The other minor issue with these earbuds is the cable. The cable is stiff and doesn't lay flat easily. The cabling isn't soft and supple like Apple's earbuds. There is no collar to slide down onto the earbud ends to keep them together for storage like the Apple earbuds. The VModa earbuds seem to get tangled up more. Despite thse two minor issues, I purchased another pair for my daughter's iPod after having these for about a month. I hope these earbuds will last longer than the Apple earbuds, which for me lasted only about 6 months when one earbud volume failed.

I recently purchased these headphones for my four-year-old son and he really enjoys them. He uses them for listening to music, watching movies, and playing games. The headphones are easy for him to adjust and put on by himself and they appear to be quite comfortable because he has fallen asleep in his car seat while wearing them.

I am also quite satisfied with the sturdiness of this set. My son is constantly plugging and unplugging them into and out of various electronic devices and so far they have held up well. They have also been dropped repeatedly and have even been sat on once or twice without any damage.

I got these for my very petite 2-1/2 year old to use w/ a portable DVD on a plane. They fit her well enough with plenty of room to grow (the ear cups slide on the headband to expand some), and I think the animal faces helped her to accept them. Sometimes she just let them hang around her neck, but at least that kept the sound of her movies from traveling too far from us. Sound quality is adequate for this age. They did not, for some reason, work well with SOME armrest audio on the planes. It did fine on a newer plane (with headrest video screens), but, as I read in another review of a similar product, it seemed to amplify cabin/plane noise on an older plane that just had the audio options. That probably has more to do with the plane than these headphones. The only problem I had with them was packing them. They do not collapse, fold, or twist, so they take up a bit of space (and you don't want to crush them). In the "relaxed" state, they form a roughly 6" circle, and the tiger's face/ear cups are about 2-1/2" wide. I would recommend these and would probably buy them again, as there are not many options out there for very small children.

I ordered six of these to use in my first grade classroom. They are much easier for small hands to manipulate than the usual headphones issued by the school district. I think what I like best about them is how easy they are for the children to adjust. The size is relatively petite, although I can place them on my head without a problem. The district headphones have sliders on either side which can easily slide down during use, causing students to complain (to me, of course!) about the headphone slipping, or not fitting. The Califone's adjustment is integrated in the piece which fits on the head. The cushion over the ear is better quality too. Very comfortable fit. My only hesitation about them is the fragility of the cord. The district headphones are thicker and can take abuse. The Califones have a thinner cord: children need to be shown how to properly plug and unplug them and warned not to pull on the line or to tangle it. Kids appreciate quality too! Great item. Definitely worth it whether you are a parent or teacher. I'm planning to acquire more.

I was going to try a neck model when I saw this. It solved the problem! Each one simply connects to your ear with a sunglasses-like hook, and it's there to stay. I'm not a sound geek, and I'm sure that they aren't at the top of the list in terms of all the audiophile lingo. But hey -- I listen when I exercise, in airports, and other places where there's noise and distractions -- not a sound studio where I plan to analyze each instrument's contribution to the harmonious mix yada yada yada. And these absolutely do the job. I'm going to buy another set soon, just to have in case I ever lose or break these. I'd pay twice the price, happily.

Bebe Sounds TV-777 TV Listener Customer Review

I recently replaced my Sony 36" Wega with a Panasonic Plasma 50". The Sony came equipped with its own integrated set of Stereo Infra-Red Headphones which performed very well. I needed now to obtain a similar set of headphones for the Panasonic, and looking over the very limited offering of Infra-Red units I selected the Bebe based on the writeup and the attractive price. I don't know that the alternative radio frequency headphones are all that bad for you but I figure why subject your brain to it if you don't have to. I sent the first set back due to what I thought was a defect of some kind -in short I couldn't get them to work. The second set was much the same and I was about to give up and send that back when I discovered that the placement of the infra-red transmitter was critical to proper operation. I had in both cases placed it on the low (18" off the floor) TV stand and the headphones just could not receive the IR signal from that impossibly shallow angle. I raised the transmitter to the height of the TV (about 50" off the floor) and that did it. I can't say enough good things about the headphones -the performance is every bit as good as the Sony set and yet more comfortable to wear. The reception is clear with no static and maybe a minor occasional hum but that can be cured with a slight movement of the head. To sum up, the quality, performance and price of this unit just cannot be beat. Buy this set and you will not be disappointed. By the way, the placement of the transmitter is clearly explained in the instructions -a lesson here for those of us who think we a too smart techical-wise to bother with them.
